Abstract
A simple computational procedure has been developed by using Monte Carlo for allocating redundancy among subsystems so as to achieve maximum reliability of a complex system subjected to multiple constraints which may be linear, non linear, separable or non separable and also reviews the D.H Shi method of redundancy allocation. One example of linear and nonlinear constraint with having 20 problems are solved by both the methods and are compared.
