Abstract
The objective of this paper elaborates a procedure for designing of low pass digital finite impulse response filter with the use of Predator-Prey Optimization method. Predator-Prey Optimization (PPO) is stochastic optimization technique where the predator explores for global best in a robust manner and preys search for solution space owing to predator fear. Predator helps to avoid incomplete convergence in local optima. Various parameters like population size, acceleration constants have been tuned to attain better results.
Keywords- Digital FIR filters, Predator Prey Optimization, Low pass filter, Magnitude response and phase response.
