Abstract
This paper examines the contributions of research to ransomware malware detection that uses machine learning and deep learning algorithms. The main motivations for this research is the destructive nature of ransomware, the difficulty of reversing the infection of ransomware, and the importance of detecting it before infecting the system. Machine learning soon coming at the forefront of the fight against ransomware, so here, we have tried to identify the weak points of the machine learning approaches and how they can be reinforced.
