Planning, Analysis And Design Of An Administrative Building At N.B.K.R.I.S.T

The principle objective of this paper is to plan, analyse and design an Administrative Building and Indoor Auditorium at N.B.K.R. Institute of Science and Technology, Nellore. The Administrative Building planning consists of Administrative area, Office room, Examination cell, Placement cell in ground floor and Indoor Auditorium in first floor. Office room is having different sections for the Academic and Financial functions of the institute. Administrative staff are the heads of the institute and consists of director, chairman and correspondent. Placement cell consists of training & placement department which works for the benefit of students of the institute. Auditorium is used for the technical, recreational and academic purposes. Auditorium is designed for 1000 seating capacity on the first floor of administrative block. In this paper an Administrative Building and Indoor Auditorium is planned based on the required specifications according to the National Building Code, analysed and designed the various structural elements of like beams, columns, slabs, footings and staircase by relevant Indian Standard Codes. The analysis of Administrative Bock is done by using STAAD.Pro and design is done manually according to Indian standard codes.
